Precise and compact industrial quality stepper motor drives for reliable CNC and motion control applications at reasonable prices ...
Micro-stepping is achieved by sub-dividing the basic motor step, by controlling the current in the two motor windings and thus producing a number of intermediate step positions (micro-steps) between the full step positions (Full Steps). To be able to produce smooth motion and approximately same torque on all micro-steps, the intermediate positions must be as equally sub-divided as possible, while motor is running.
Accurate micro stepping places a great deal of accuracy demand on current control profile at all levels of currents on the drive. The phase current profiles required in microstepping a stepper to produce the micro steps are sinusoidal . Our stepper drivers can be supplied optimized for a specific stepper motor for high performance, high-resolution micro-step drive systems, for a little additional price (one time cost).
