Fully assembed and tested breakout board for interfacting your CNC machine to computer parallel port. All outputs are fully buffered and inputs are optoisolated, filtered for noise and buffered. the board is specefically designed for CNC control in mind as there are features like on board chargepump circuit for saftey, 2 outputs are buffered twice seperately and connected to independent terminals to enable hardware slaving of two stepper motors in parallel if needed in gantry style cnc machines.

The chage pump circuit can be disable and the output pin can be recalaimed for other use if not needed. We have also provided LED indicators like CPGood (charge pump good), Relay ON and Estop OK. All of the above 3 signals can be reclaimed and used for any general purpose if needed making the board flexible enough. Change pump circuit operates from as low as 200Hz to more than 15 KHz. On board rectifier and filter is provided so anny ac/dc supply from wall adapter can be used to power the board.

Features of Breakout Board ( PP-BOB1-v2):

• All outputs are buffered and taken out to screw terminals.
• One axis ( Step and Dir) signals are buffered twice and taken out to terminals enabling hardware slaving of 2 motors on one axis needed for gantry style machines.
• On board rectifier and filter, accepts 9V to 15V AC or DC input for power.
• DB25 as well as 26pin FRC connectors.
• FRC to DB25 cable is available as an option, allowing clean layout in control box and get DB25 connector out fromm control box.
• Hand made high quality, low resistance, shielded male-to-male parallel port cable included.
• All inputs are optoisolated, filtered and buffered for noise immunity.
• On inputs, both terminals of optoisolator are connected to screw terminals, providing flexible connection to source / sink type inputs and with external series resistor can tke from 5v to 24v inputs.
• LED indicators provided - Power OK, Estop OK, Relay ON and Chargepump OK signals.
• One on board relay provided for spindle or aux on off control.
• Charge pump circuit provided for saftey.
• All inputs or outputs like estop, chargepump, relays can be reclaimed and used for any purpose with jumpers.

• Plese ask if P2-9 pins are needed to be configured as inputs, when using breakout board in a system with multiple parallel ports.
