Timing belt pulley based reduction gear box for CNC machines

TIMING BELT BASED REDUCTION GEAR BOX

The pulley and belts are of the HTD 5M form factor and provide for High Torque transfers provided by the new Nema 34 stepper / servo motors.

The gear box is a perfect example for using advanced manufacturing techniques like laser cutting to evolve a 4:1 gearbox assy perfect for gear reduction using Timing pulley belt arrangement.

The current belt width is 15mm and the gearbox can be customized to used wider belts at a cost.

Applications includes:
Motion transfer in pick and place applications, gearbox to increase resolution in CNC machinery, like CNC plasma, CNC routers.
The Gear Box is designed for Nema34 motors and is modular in design. The shaft size on the Big pulley end is 15mm dia which suffices most motion transfer requirements
