Overview

The TNC-M33 is a three-axis G-code CNC controller with a handwheel for manual jogging — the TNE-100H, a 100 pulse-per-revolution encoder built into the front panel.

It reads standard G-code and runs the program itself from a USB thumb drive, with independent maximum velocity and acceleration settable per axis. Motor outputs are differential step and direction for a stepper or servo drive on each axis — differential signalling is what keeps the pulse train clean on a panel that also carries contactors and drive cables.

Four opto-isolated inputs and four open-collector outputs (able to drive 24 V relays) cover the machine I/O a typical retrofit needs — limits, an emergency stop, coolant or spindle switching — without a separate PLC. An inbuilt switch-mode supply runs directly from 220 V AC, so there is no separate transformer to wire in.

Where the TNC-D33 adds a handheld pendant and imports PCB drill files directly for a dedicated drilling application, the TNC-M33 is the general-purpose three-axis member of the range, for retrofitting a mill, router or similar machine that benefits from handwheel jogging during setup.
