4 Axes CNC Controller — TNC-M34s
Four-axis standalone CNC controller with a dual-core ARM processor and 7-inch display; the same board as the TNC-M34, without the MPG handheld pendant.
Overview
The TNC-M34S is the TNC-M34 four-axis controller without the handheld MPG pendant — the same board, display, keypad and I/O, jogged from the panel keypad rather than a separate pendant.
A dual-core ARM processor runs standard G-code and drives four axes through 8 differential outputs at up to 500 kHz per axis, for smooth linear and circular motion on stepper or servo drives. The 7-inch graphic display shows axis position, feed rate and spindle speed, and the 36-key keypad handles jogging, mode selection and setup — the TNC-M34's MPG pendant does the same jogging job with a handwheel and its own display, but is not part of this unit.
I/O covers 16 opto-coupled NPN inputs, 14 open-collector 24 V outputs (200 mA each), and 4 relay outputs for coolant or spindle switching. An isolated 0-10V output, switchable to PWM, sets spindle speed. Two USB ports and an internal SD card take practically unlimited G-code file sizes.
It runs from a single 24 VDC supply at 0.5 A, and firmware updates from Tiny Controls install without returning the unit.
If handwheel jogging matters for your setup, the TNC-M34 is the same controller with the MPG pendant included.

Without the pendant, do I lose any real jogging functionality, or is the panel keypad just as capable?
No loss of function — the 36-key keypad handles jogging, mode selection and setup the same way the MPG pendant does on the TNC-M34, just from the panel instead of a separate handwheel.
Is this actually a cut-down board, or the same hardware with the pendant left off?
Same board, display, keypad and I/O as the TNC-M34 — the only thing missing is the pendant.
Will large G-code programs run out of storage on this?
Unlikely — two USB ports and an internal SD card take practically unlimited file sizes.
How does it handle spindle speed control?
An isolated 0-10V output, switchable to PWM.
If I later decide I want handwheel jogging after all, what do I need?
The TNC-M34 — same controller, with the MPG pendant included. This listing doesn't cover adding a pendant onto this unit after purchase.
