Overview

The TNC-G13 is a stand-alone three-axis motion controller: it reads standard G/M-code from a USB thumb drive and runs the program itself, with no PC required once the file is loaded.

Each of the three axes drives through a differential step and direction output at up to 200 kHz, with the pulse train ramping smoothly so a motor does not stall at speed. Interpolation is linear only. An inbuilt keypad handles jogging in step, continuous or fast mode, and the front panel gives feed hold, cycle start and cycle stop directly, without editing the program.

Six opto-isolated inputs cover home, limit, start/stop, block mode and a dedicated high-speed emergency input, with home and limit sharing one common input across all three axes. Four open-collector outputs can drive 24 V relays. Custom M codes extend the command set — M62 and M66 for input/output control mid-program, M98 and M99 for repeating a block — and a dry-run check plus a program limit check catch problems before the machine moves. A diagnosis menu exercises every input and output manually for troubleshooting.

It runs directly from 90-250 V AC at 50/60 Hz, draws up to 5 W, and fits a 155 x 92 mm panel cutout at 165 x 102 x 76 mm overall, weighing 200 g.

Where the TNC-G22 replaces a PLC and HMI pair with its own command language, the G13 is the G-code member of the range.
