Overview
A 24 V switch-mode supply rated at 3 A, giving 72 W.
This is a control supply, not a motor supply. Controllers, limit switches, relays, proximity sensors and I/O modules typically run at 24 V and draw modest current, and this covers that side of the panel comfortably.
Stepper drives are a different matter. They draw far more than 3 A during acceleration and generally want a higher rail than 24 V for torque at speed - so give them their own supply, sized to the motors. Trying to run both from one small supply produces a rail that dips whenever an axis starts, which shows up as unexplained faults rather than as an obvious power problem.

Can I run my stepper drives from this?
No. Stepper drives draw far more than 3 A during acceleration and usually want a higher voltage for torque at speed. Give them a separate supply sized to the motors.
