A clamp for mounting an 80 mm diameter spindle motor to a machine's Z axis.
The number that matters is the body diameter, not the power. Spindles of quite different power ratings share a body diameter, and spindles of the same power come in different diameters, so measure the spindle you actually have, or check its stated body diameter, before choosing a clamp. A holder that does not match will not grip, and packing it out is not a fix on a part that carries all the cutting load. This catalogue's TS-21, TS-22 and TS-23 spindles (1.5-2.2 kW) are all 80 mm diameter and fit this clamp.
The clamp is the mechanical link between the cutting forces and the machine. Its rigidity sets how much the spindle deflects under load, which shows up directly as finish quality and cut accuracy.
