Overview

The T85H90-5504 is a NEMA 34 stepper motor with a 90mm body, wired with four fixed lead wires rather than the switchable eight-wire arrangement used on the T85H65-2808/T85H80-4208/T85H118-4208.

It draws 5.5 A per phase (0.9 ohm, 6.0 mH) and holds 5.88 Nm / 60.0 kg-cm at standstill. That current needs a drive with real headroom above it - a Tstep-168X (1.2-8.0 A) is the natural fit; a Tstep-117X (up to 7.0 A) would be running close to its ceiling.

Four lead wires bring out one connection per phase, fixed in series at the factory - simpler wiring, without the series/parallel option the eight-wire T85H motors offer.

Where more torque is needed at even higher current, the T85H156-6204 draws 6.2 A for 12.2 Nm / 124.0 kg-cm in a longer body. Both stay within the same NEMA 34 flange as the eight-wire T85H motors, so the choice comes down to torque and wiring flexibility rather than fitment.
