TNC-G11 RS-232 programmable Single Axis Motion Controller
Single-axis pulse generator for stepper or servo drives with an RS-232 interface — commands run live over serial or from a sequence stored to flash — plus jumper-set manual modes.
Overview
The TNC-G11 is a single-axis pulse generator for stepper or servo drives, distinguished from the rest of the range by its RS-232 interface.
In standalone/manual mode it behaves like its jumper-only siblings: two inputs, IN1 and IN2, take Start/Stop-Dir, Start CW/Start CCW, or a plain Start-Stop pair depending on jumper setting, with a third input free for an emergency or limit switch. The RS-232 link adds a second way to run it — an auto mode, itself jumper-configurable between two sub-modes. In online mode a host sends commands over serial and the SPG executes them as they arrive, for a custom PC GUI driving the axis live. In offline mode the command sequence is stored to onboard flash first and then run as a block, so the axis can execute a program without the host staying connected.
Starting speed and acceleration are continuously adjustable by potentiometer, and four speed ranges are jumper-selectable, so the same board covers a wide span of motor sizes without a firmware change. All three inputs are opto-isolated.
It runs from 8-24 V DC, draws up to 3.5 W, and measures 70 x 40 mm at 20 g.
Where the TNC-G12 is set entirely by onboard jumpers with no host connection, the G11 adds the RS-232 link for PC or controller integration.

Can I drive this live from my own PC software, not just switches?
Yes — that's what online mode is for. A host sends commands over serial, and it executes them as they arrive, suited to a custom PC GUI driving the axis live.
