Overview
The TS-01 is a 300 W DC spindle motor, the entry point in a three-model family shared with the TS-02 and TS-03.
It runs from a 12-48 V DC supply, drawing up to 6 A, and covers 3,000 to 12,000 rpm. Tooling is held in an ER11 collet, which accepts small-diameter shanks suited to light engraving and PCB work rather than heavy stock removal.
The body is 52 mm in diameter and 170 mm long, identical to the TS-02 and TS-03 - all three share the same frame and only the winding differs, so a mount sized for one fits all three.
Speed is set by the DC supply voltage or by a separate PWM speed controller; the spindle itself has no onboard speed control.
If more cutting power is needed in the same frame, the TS-02 (400 W) and TS-03 (500 W) share the same mounting and collet.

Can I run this straight off a DC supply, or does it need its own speed controller?
The spindle itself has no onboard speed control — speed is set either by the DC supply voltage directly or with a separate PWM speed controller.
Will this handle hogging out stock, or is it more of a light-duty spindle?
