Overview
The TS-19 is an 800 W water-cooled spindle for general routing and milling, sharing its power, speed range and body size with the air-cooled TS-20 - the only difference between the two is how the heat gets out.
It runs at 10,000-24,000 rpm and takes tooling through an ER11 collet. The body is 65 mm in diameter and 183 mm long, weighing 2.6 kg. Power is 800 W, drawn from a 220 V three-phase supply at 3.8 A through a variable frequency drive; the VFD's output frequency sets the running speed within the rated range.
Water cooling needs a closed loop with a radiator or small chiller plumbed to the spindle jacket, but in return the spindle runs quieter and holds a steadier temperature under continuous cutting than an air-cooled body of the same size, because the coolant carries heat away faster than a fan can.
Where running water isn't practical - a portable setup, or a machine that can't carry a coolant tank - the TS-20 gives the same power and speed with a fan instead.

Is this actually a better spindle than the air-cooled TS-20, or just a different way of cooling the same thing?
The latter — same power, speed range and body size, electrically identical. The only difference is how the heat gets out. In exchange for the extra plumbing, this one runs quieter and holds a steadier temperature under continuous cutting than an air-cooled body the same size, since coolant carries heat away faster than a fan can.
What am I actually plumbing this into — can I just run a hose off a tap?
No — it needs a closed loop with a radiator or small chiller plumbed to the spindle jacket, not open running water.
My setup is portable and I don't want to carry a coolant tank around — is there an alternative?
