TS-20 800W Air Cooled Spindle ER11 (220V)

The TS-20 is an 800 W air-cooled spindle for general routing and milling, sharing its power, speed range and body size with the water-cooled TS-19 - the only difference between the two is how the heat gets out.

It runs at 10,000-24,000 rpm and takes tooling through an ER11 collet. The body is 65 mm in diameter and 183 mm long, weighing 2.6 kg. Power is 800 W, drawn from a 220 V three-phase supply at 3.8 A through a variable frequency drive; the VFD's output frequency sets the running speed within the rated range.

Being fan-cooled, it needs unobstructed airflow around the body and no external plumbing, which makes it the simpler choice for a portable machine or one with nowhere to mount a coolant tank and radiator.

Where sustained heavy cutting or a fully enclosed housing makes fan cooling impractical, the TS-19 gives the same power and speed with a water jacket instead.
