Overview

The TS-30 is a 3.2 kW spindle for heavier routing and milling than the 800 W-2.2 kW spindles in this range, in the 220 V version.

It runs at 10,000-24,000 rpm and takes tooling through an ER20 collet, suited to larger-diameter cutters than the ER11/ER16 spindles below it. The body is 100 mm in diameter and 260 mm long, weighing 6.8 kg.

Power is 3.2 kW, drawn from a 220 V three-phase supply at 14 A through a variable frequency drive sized for the motor; the VFD's output frequency sets the running speed within the rated range. At this current, supply wiring and the VFD's input rating need checking against the local 220 V circuit before ordering.

Where the workshop supply is 380 V three-phase instead, the TS-34 is the same 3.2 kW spindle wound for that voltage, drawing less current for the same power.
